AMFCCL
Fall Conference
Dear
Karl:
Thanks
again for the wonderful presentation last Friday! As you know,
it's so difficult to please everyone; the grizzled veterans who
have "heard it all", the neophytes who maybe need more
"milk than meat", and everything in between. However you
presented it clearly enough and in a practical enough manner for
the newer kids on the block, and your style was more than
sufficiently engaging with enough examples of application, for us
older folks.
What
follows is fairly representative of the commentary you evoked from
you audience:
"Absolutely
excellent - speaker is very knowledgeable, and able to communicate
by using many examples. We are only effective in our jobs to the
degree that we are healthy and emotionally intelligent
people."
"Organized
yet flexible, great examples, very understandable.
This was great training.”
"Karl
is a very good instructor. He
is engaging and humorous. He
was very knowledgeable and able to communicate the key points
effectively."
"Karl
has a great personality and is knowledgeable.
The part on dealing with difficult people was
excellent."
"Karl
was beyond excellent; he was flexible and went into more depth
when asked. Thank
you. It was great and
entertaining as well."
“The
information Karl presented will be very helpful in dealing with
difficult clients. It
will also help me in my interpersonal relationships."
"Very
organized and easy to follow.
Karl is a great teacher, with great examples, humor, and
respect. He helped us
to look at and take care of ourselves. Thank you Karl!"
"Karl
was interesting, entertaining, and helpful.
Good info and very good handouts."
"
Well organized. Karl
is a great speaker; great presentation, great humor, and easy to
follow!"
"Excellent
speaker, knew his topic"
"Karl,
you did a great job going with the flow, and understanding this
group."
“Karl
is very easy to listen to with a great sense of humor – very
lovable. I will apply
many of the concepts."
I
have to say Karl that I've never heard a presenter described as
"loveable"! It's probably a good thing. I also have to
tell you that you were neck in neck with the food in terms of
favorable response. Knowing this group's obsession with food, and
considering the buffet, I would say that this is definitely a good
thing.
Sincerely,
William

RE: Karl Mulle -
Speaker at our Annual Chamber Banquet
Dear Sherry:
I just wanted to take
a moment to write to you and Thank you for helping me arrange for
Karl Mulle to come out and speak at our Annual Chamber of Commerce

topic he spoke on and also on the way that he presented this
interesting subject. Everyone there had a very enjoyable time.
It was so nice to

many needs and connections we will be able to use him again as a

Dear Karl:
Thank you! Thank you!
The Upper
Midwest Hospitality Restaurant and Lodging Show is now history.
The seminars were all a big hit - and you were an integral part of
them. Thanks so much for presenting the seminar 'Why Are Women So
Strange and Men So Weird?"
Your seminar was a
big hit with the attendees. A number of people stopped me to tell
me what an entertaining and informative seminar it was! Although I
was only able to sit in on a portion of it, I could see that you
held the audience right in the palm of your hand. I've seen you do
it before and it was fun to see an encore presentation! I couldn't
have asked for more.
Thanks again for your
help at the Show, Karl. It was a pleasure working with you and I
look forward to doing more with you in the future!

Jobs In Transition
Dear Karl:
It is often said that
from small beginnings, great things will come. We at Jobs In
Transition believe this is especially true of our work in the
community. It is only with the help of professionals like you that
this becomes possible.
As you know on a
weekly basis we not only give encouragement, education, and
support on finding a job, but also on how to keep it. Many people
involved with JIT have had the same job for years and never
imagined this might happen to them. They are not prepared for a
layoff and need help in coming to terms with the emotional and
practical side of unemployment. Unfortunately, for many it becomes
a long-term situation. They are left with very little self-esteem,
making it more difficult to find a job in the future.
In this light, and to
these ends, your speaking address to our group was greatly appreciated. It gave us all, helpful insight and
motivation in our own individual job-search and networking
possibilities.
As the weeks and
months go by, we see men, women, and young adults who are forced
to re-enter this highly competitive job market. We at JlT hope
that you will be able to return as a speaker in the future.
We greatly value your
contribution and the coordinators, Dennis Holman, Lisa Wicklund,
John Shaver, David Dirkes, and myself sincerely thank you.
Very truly,
David Scheele
